Tired of generic Erasmus+
courses in glossy academies?

So were we.

Structured courses in Barcelona

We are educators — committed to learning, not business.

We don’t just run courses — we create learning experiences to improve education across Europe.

We are not an academy. This is a mission. This is our project.

This project was born from a shared vision between educational inspectors, principals, university lecturers, private sector experts, and a university foundation.

We believe that professional development should be rigorous, meaningful, and deeply rooted in real educational practice. Our aim is to offer top-quality training that goes far beyond what many profit-driven academies currently provide.

Our 4 Core Pillars

We are not an academy — we are a university foundation

Our project is led by the Fundació Universitària Martí l’Humà, a non-profit foundation with more than 20 years of experience in teacher education, which was born accompanied by the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), one of Spain’s top public universities.

We are not just trainers — we are leading educators

Our team includes outstanding classroom teachers, school principals, educational inspectors, university lecturers, and professionals from the private sector. We combine practical expertise with deep pedagogical insight to deliver truly impactful training.

We don’t work in academies — we train where education actually happens

Our courses take place at Jaume Balmes High School, in the heart of Barcelona. Founded in 1845, it is the oldest active secondary school in Catalonia—a living symbol of our educational history. More than just a historic building, it remains a vibrant school community, where real education happens every day.

We are proudly Catalan — and we want you to feel it

Our cultural programme is designed to be immersive, genuine and non-touristic, offering a rich experience of Catalan culture, language and identity. We believe that understanding education means understanding the place and the people behind it.

Teaching fields

These teaching fields reflect key areas of educational development and are fully aligned with the European priorities of the Erasmus+ Programme: Inclusion and Diversity; Digital Transformation; Environment and Fight Against Climate Change; and Participation in Democratic Life, Common Values and Civic Engagement.

Each field addresses pressing educational challenges and fosters innovative practices that empower educators and learners alike. By structuring the courses around these priorities, we aim to promote high-quality, inclusive, and future-oriented professional development rooted in shared European values.
